unveil
Last updated 30 July 2026
unveil collects nothing about you. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no advertising identifier, and no third-party SDK of any kind in the app. Nothing you do in the game is sent to us, because there is no server of ours for it to be sent to.
The game keeps your progress on your own device: which levels you have revealed, which relics you have found, your daily streak, how deep you have gone, and your settings. This lives in the app's own storage and is removed when you delete the app.
If you are signed in to iCloud, that same progress is also written to your private iCloud key-value store so it follows you to a new device. It is stored in your iCloud account, not ours — we cannot read it, and it is covered by Apple's privacy policy. Signing out of iCloud stops this; the game carries on working from the copy on your device.
If you are already signed in to Game Center, the game can submit how deep you have gone on the Long Stair to a leaderboard, and can mark achievements. That data is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The app never asks you to sign in, and everything in the game works if you never do.
The one purchase in the game is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, your name, or your Apple Account. The app asks Apple only whether this Apple Account owns the unlock.
unveil is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
